How does Lytmi TV backlight work?

1.Lytmi Neo Sync Box supports devices with an HDMI connection. The HDMI device must be plugged into the Neo sync box with an HDMI cable. Smart TV apps and their related services are not supported as their signal doesn't pass through the Sync box to process via an HDMI cable.


2.Please download “Lytmi Home” app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Please note that you should allow access requests to your phone's Bluetooth, Location and WIFI for the app to function properly as required by the App provider.


3.Please ensure that you are using the 2.4 GHz network Wi-Fi connection (Currently 5G is not supported, we are working on it). Most routers nowadays come with "dual band" WiFi. That means they have both 2.4G and 5G WiFi bands. We suggest to search for "How to tell if you have 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz WiFi" if you are not sure.

How can I control lights via Alexa or google assistant?

How can I adjust the lightstrip length?
For the 27 - 55 inch & 90 - 120 inch kit, the lightstrip can be cut to any size that fit the TV. For 55-85 inch kits, the extra cables can be arranged by the fixing brackets on the back of the TV, the corner black cables can be extended or looped to fit the TV size range.

What is the difference between different sync mode?

The lights in sync mode will have different light effects.


The Video light produces fewer colors than recreation or game light in case of distraction when watching the video.

In other words, the recreation and game lights will have more colors to show.


And the degree of diffusion is used to adjust the speed of the color changing in sync mode.

The higher it is, the faster the color changes. The suggested degree is about 60%.

Why is Wi-FI 2.4G required for the app to work?

Lytmi Home app is one of the IOT devices that requires you to use their app to set up the Wi-Fi connection for the device.

This is why many IOT devices state they are only compatible with 2.4 GHz networks or may prevent you from connecting them if your mobile is currently connected on 5 GHz.

I have a 100” screen with an Ultra Short Throw projector and this was the best option.
Pros:
- Very little latency
- Bright
- Can work with up to 120” screens
- No camera required.
- LEDs turn off when screen is dark.
Cons:
- Sometimes has slight color inaccuracies.
- Colors and movements aren’t always accurate.
- Not as many setting adjustments as govee camera app. Would be great if you could dial in settings better For movie/video play. Example: when you play the 21st Century Fox intro, the spotlights should shine off the screen with the LEDs
Summary: it’s an incredible system and with updates will make it phenomenal!
- Can only install from bottom left or bottom right.

Alles gut soweit. Eine genauere Anleitung zu der 20-50inch Variante wäre hilfreich gewesen, da der Strip abgeschnitten werden muss. Darüber steht aber nicht in der Anleitung. Und nach einer Woche in betrieb, ist der LED Strip in den Ecken auf der Oberfläche angebrochen. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, den abgeschnittenen Teil wieder zu verbinden? das wäre noch wissenswert und irgendwann bestimmt von Nöten, ansonsten wäre es gut zu wissen ob man den LED Strip einzeln nachkaufen kann.

Other than the fact that the sync was unstable when linking the app for the first time, so I tried several times, I am using it satisfactorily. We look forward to continued app updates and reproduction of out-of-stock products.

Weird green light

I love this kit!!!! The ONLY brand I can find for my requirements. Must fiit my 120" projector screen, with a little extra. Must be hdmi 2.1 compatble. Not a problem with this model & size. Cut a little off for a perfect fit. The autosynch timing, color accuracy & saturation levels are really good. And that's with a dark gray wall. I've installed this kit on a friend's 85" TV with a white background wall. Brightness, response time & color accuracy on both were very similar, but the broadcast & overall "lighting" effects were better on the conventional white wall, due to ease of positioning & achievable distance from the wall. Had to mount projector screen appropriately 3" off the wall to achieve what I think is a good balance of broadcast & accuracy, & color replication for a UST projector screen. Wasn't easy btw. I will post pics & videos soon.
